Why Short-Stay Programs Work for Aussie & Expat Families
School holidays in Australia and New Zealand align perfectly with football’s holiday camp season, busy with tournaments and international soccer matches and short-stay opportunities at Bali SBK. It’s the perfect place for visiting families from Australia, New Zealand or further afield to join our warm and safe environment for a soccer-focused getaway – and plenty of beach club and adventure opportunities for the whole family. During this time, Bali SBK combines its signature-style pro-like daily training for teens with all-inclusive accommodation and cultural immersion. Essentially, we’ve created a “holiday plus youth sports development” experience that parents consistently praise. Here are our three upcoming short-stay opportunities for teen footy players and their families.

Package 2 – IFA Perth International Match Weekend (20-22 Feb or 27 Feb-1 Mar)
Following hot on the heels of the Solo tournament, Bali SBK offers a longer two to three-week short-stay opportunity in Bali, culminating in an international match weekend in Perth, Australia. Taking part in our training before the IFA match is an opportunity to train like a pro – in paradise – and learning from our highly qualified coaches and squad. This package is open to visiting players and their families, expat kids in Bali and youth players enrolled in our full-time soccer academy program.
The package includes the same amenities as the Persis Solo package, plus a group flight to Perth, local accommodation during the football tournament in Perth, and local sightseeing/ entertainment. It’s an excellent opportunity for young players to gain international exposure and experience.
Package 3 – Bali 7s Youth Tournament (2-5 Apr)
After the trip to Perth, our team and squad will prepare for the Bali 7s, taking place from April 2nd to 5tth locally. The short-stay option is open for local players, expat soccer teens, and visiting footie-loving kids. This package includes access to our pre-tournament training tailored to you, gym, ice bath, beachside yoga, performance coaching and all-inclusive lodging.
The Bali 7s welcomes athletes of all ages, offering a competitive and enriching experience for young athletes. Early-bird packages are now available, with recommended stay length from one week to one month. (For longer stays, we recommend enrolling in our academic stream.)
